Metropolitan Police – update on operation “Tranquil Wind”

Our Chairman and committee members have asked for the following Metropolitan Police communication to be publicised via our website:

Dear Resident,
These coming weeks will see the Hyde Park SNT and cluster policing team targeting both Sussex Gardens and the immediate surrounding streets.

The intention remains simple, with this being to increase those residents actively linked in with the police to both share and report matters of Anti Social Behaviour within these nominated streets;

– Sussex Gardens.
– Radnor Mews.
– Radnor Place.
– Somers Crescent.

Following on from the successes of Operation Wagram in dealing with ‘street vice’, Tranquil Wind will further embed our focus in dealing with such matters, and make this policing method an every day occurrence.
However, it must be stressed that correspondence from you is very much needed to ensure that our policing strategy remains fit for purpose and relevant to the current need. So the following request is made….
Please support my officers further in canvassing your neighbours and encouraging them to come forward with updated information and providing us with their contact details so we can create larger communication channels.

Again, I thank you for your commitment and support.
Together, we will make London a safer place to live, visit and work.

Yours in crime reduction.

Inspector Ross Hickman
